By fitting the barrier-free entry in the castle garden and installing a self-supporting elevator shaft into the hollow body of the window reveal, the requirements of the monument, accessibility and spatial gain is taken into account. The existing stair case is preserved, only one flight of stairs will be relocated. The ground floor is defined by four flexible, multifunctional spaces. The two seminar rooms, coupled to one another, receive a prominent location on the ground floor. The Foyer with its new meeting place greets the visitor with its white plastered fireplace.
